The inverted microscope is equipped with an objective lens of 10X, 0.3 numerical aperture (NA), 40X, 1.30 NA, 63X, 1.40 NA, and 100X, 1.3 NA. The confocal microscope core facility at Henry Ford Hospital has a Bio-Rad MRC 1024 3-channel laser-scanning confocal imaging system, utilizing a krypton argon laser with 488, 568, and 647 nm wavelengths, mounted onto a Zeiss 100 Axiovert inverted microscope.
